Swimming Pool Policies
The swimming season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool hours will be daily from 11AM-5PM with lifeguards present. You must be 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult to swim after 5PM.
Registration- When members arrive at either entrance, they must sign in. All guests must be registered in the canteen upon arrival, at which time a $5 fee will be paid in cash or charged to the host member’s account. Grandparents may bring their grandchildren to the pool without charge as long as the grandparent is in attendance at the pool. This applies to resident grandchildren as well as out of town grandchildren. Other Ottumwa resident family members, who are not members, are subject to the same policy as Ottumwa resident nonmember guests. Resident guests, who are not members, are limited to three visits to the pool per season and must pay fees each visit. Guests must depart pool when the member departs the pool. You must be a social or golfing member to use the pool. The canteen does not accept cash. All charges will be reflected on the member’s monthly bill.
No food, liquor or soft drinks shall be allowed at the pool unless purchased on the club premises. The club provides food and beverage facilities and it is expected that the members and their guests will avail themselves of these services. The only exception to the food policy is when a pool party is hosted by a member. Members may bring in cake and/or pizza for the party but beverages must be purchased from the club.
