Policies
Golf Course Rules
- Please register in the golf shop before teeing off.
- All play will start from #1 unless directed by the golf professional staff.
- Starting times are not available to be made in advance.
- All golfers are expected to play in 4 hours or less.
- The decision on whether the golf course is playable and if carts are usable is the responsibility of the Golf Course Superintendent and the Golf Professional. The Golf Professional is responsible for executing the decision.
- All golfers must discontinue play when they hear a horn blast. The horn blast indicates that severe weather is imminent or there is lightning in the immediate area. Players should take cover or return to the clubhouse.
- Matches containing more than five players will not be permitted between Memorial and Labor Day. The Golf Professional has discretion to make exceptions.
Guest Rules
- All guests must register in the golf shop.
- Guests residing within Wapello County may only play 3 times per year.
Golf Cart Rules
- All members and guests are expected to handle golf carts with care and caution, and are responsible for damage to the cart while under their control.
- Carts must remain on paths where available and 30 ft. from tees and greens.
- Every effort should be taken to follow directional arrows and signs and to avoid wet areas.
- You must be 16 years old and posses a valid drivers license to operate a cart.
- Failure to operate a cart in a responsible manner can result in the suspension of cart privileges.
- Carts must be shared whenever possible. (2) people will not be permitted to take (2) carts.
Miscellaneous Rules
- The Golf Professional and OCC will be held harmless for any and all liability arising out of loss or damage (absent negligence) to member’s or guests property while stored.
- Membership Dues for all golfing categories includes unlimited use of the practice facilities for those covered by the membership.
- All golf shop credit must be used by December 24th of the year it was obtained.
