Junior Golf
Ottumwa Country Club has one of the best Junior Golf Programs in the state. Our Junior Golf Program is very active and involves many youngsters from ages 3 to 18 years. This past season we had 80 Ottumwa youngsters take advantage of the opportunity to hone their abilities and learn new skills.
Meeting every Tuesday throughout the summer, Junior Golfers receive 45 minutes of golf instruction on a particular topic then take what they have learned to the golf course for 2, 5,9 or 18 holes based on their age and ability. We also offer No Holers for the little ones who have an enthusiasm for golf but just are not quite ready yet for the course. During the golf season, there are outings involving the parents and an Annual Awards Banquet is held in August.
The Junior Golf Program is great family fun; the continued involvement of new members helps to develop the future champs of Ottumwa Country Club.
