Chef Jared’s culinary career began in 1995. His work experience includes positions at Jimmy’s American Grill, Cabo San Lucas, 8th Street Seafood Bar and Grill, 801 Steak and Chop House, Top of the Rock Grille and Honey Creek Resort. In 2008, Chef Jared completed his education with an AA degree in Culinary Arts. Jared has been with Ottumwa Country Club since 2010. He brings a modern approach to cooking using fresh produce and natural ingredients from local purveyors in all his dishes. His strong leadership skills in the kitchen and culinary experience have made him a valuable addition to the club.

Daniel is the youngest of 3 children and was born in Pella, Iowa.  He moved to New York in November of 2007 to attend the Culinary Institute of America.  In December of 2009 he graduated with his Associates of Occupational Studies in Culinary Art. He currently lives in Pella with his wife and two daughters.
