Baldfaced Hornets making their nest on an apple tree right off #13 tee. Normally they cause no problems, but signs were put near this tree and this area was staked off to keep golfers away when the apples were ripening. These protected hornets pack quite a sting....and this is about as close as this superintendent would want to photograph them.
